This is open to anyone who has an interest in Amateur Radio. We look forward to seeing you and will be monitoring 145.500 FM if you want to call in.
However, please do feel free to join us in person and say hello
Thrybergh is located just outside Rotherham on the A630, there is a Cafe on site (you will find us there I expect)
The Country Park started out, as a reservoir and was created between 1876 and 1880 and was used to provide drinking water to Doncaster. It was acquired by Rotherham MBC in 1980, who opened it as a nature reserve and country park in 1983.

Update! (2024-03-12)

We have been running these morning meetups for anyone interested in Amateur Radio since late February 2024. We have had an excellent response from our own members and others, and each week we get more and more people joining us.

Some people come for Coffee and a chat, some take part in Amateur Radio activities, and sometimes we ‘Activate the Park as part of Parks on the Air (POTA). Others come for a walk around the lake, some use handheld radios to chat as they go!
