Thrybergh Country Park
The Country Park is accessible by car from the A630 Doncaster Road between Thrybergh and Hooton Roberts. I understand that there is also a bus stop immediately outside the main entrance to the park on the A630 and a pay and display car park within the park.

We have been running these morning meetups for anyone interested in Amateur Radio since late February 2024. We have had an excellent response from our own members and others, and each week we get more and more people joining us.
Some people come for Coffee and a chat, some take part in Amateur Radio activities, and sometimes we ‘Activate the Park as part of Parks on the Air (POTA). Others come for a walk around the lake, some use handheld radios to chat as they go!
Activities at Thrybergh
The location is delightful, and there are a number of things you can do including:
- Walking and Hiking: The park features several walking trails that wind through woodland, meadows, and around the picturesque Thrybergh Reservoir. It’s a great place for a leisurely stroll or a more vigorous hike.
- Cycling: There are cycling routes within the park, suitable for both leisurely rides and more challenging cycling experiences. You can bring your own bike or rent one from nearby facilities.
