Also subject to the weather chance to take part in a Parks on the Air Activation (POTA) listen out for G4SKM.

This is a regular event.

We have been meeting up at Thrybergh Country Park, near Rotherham since the start of the year. Its a great local location and most weeks we try and activate the site as a POTA Activation using our Call Sign G4SKM.

IF you are interested in what we do then please feel free to come along and say hello or join in with what we are doing. If you are a licenced Radio Amateur then we usually monitor the 2m Calling Frequency. Its does not matter if you only have a slight interest in Radio, please feel free to come along.  We also have a weekly meeting on a Friday evening at Hellaby. more about us.

The Maltby and District Amateur Radio Society, re-established in August 2023, is a vibrant community dedicated to the exploration and enjoyment of amateur radio. Located at Centenary Hall, Bateman Road, Hellaby, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The society offers a welcoming environment for enthusiasts of all levels.
